Ever since it was announced that two cinematic giants of Indian Cinema, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and perfectionist Aamir Khan are set to share the screen space in the film THUGS OF HINDOSTAN, it ignited excitement across the nation, among trade circles, fans all over. We all knew with Big B and Aamir, who are known as the epitome of perfection, dedication and are finest actors of all time, would spark off the screen with their chemistry. And staying true to our expectations, the first trailer of the film that was unveiled today on Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary, after launching series of posters & motion posters of the film, indeed gives you that larger-than-life never-seen before experience.

The trailer begins with introducing the era of pre British period and introduces the villain, the English actor Lloyd Owen's John Clive. This is perhaps a rare one such movie where we get introduced to the baddie first. With that we get introduced to the character of Amitabh Bachchan, who calls himself Azaad. After a long long time we see Amitabh Bachchan in an angry rebellious avatar that we were missing badly. Welcome back Sir to your elements. Despite being 75, Big B does full justice to his character and shows that he has still that fire in his belly as a performer and age is just a number for him when it comes to executing any particular scene. Big B’s energy, vigor & enthusiasm in unmatched! The characterisation, his costume and his grit is to be seen. His fight sequences and spontaneity reminds us of Kattappa from BAAHUBALI. But above all, Big B’s dialoguebaazi is what takes the film to another level.

On the hand, Fatima Sana Sheikh, who already won the hearts in the film DANGAL as a wrestler, is back as a fiery archer Zafira. Her zeal is to be witnessed in this magnum opus.

And then comes our hero Aamir Khan…oops ‘Bahut Hi Kamina’ (B@$t@&d) Firangi, a shrewd, infamous ‘Thug’, a sycophant of British Army who can stoop down to any level. But his character has different shades and it so wickedly colourful that you would love to hate him and vice-versa. Aamir totally sweeps you off your feet with his look and characterisation. Besides, Katrina, who plays the dancer Suraiyya, will make many men drool over her sexy moves and hourglass figure, her beauty is flawless yet she is one with whom you cannot mess with.

The entire trailer will keep you on the edge-of-the-seat. After creating ‘dhoom’ with DHOOM:3, director Vjay Krishna Acharya is back with a gigantic film like THUGS OF HINDOSTAN, whose splendour will also remind of SS Rajamouli’s BAAHUBALI. While each frame of the film will keep you hooked, but the best part and high point in THUGS OF HINDOSTAN is Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan’s face-off, especially the climax of the trailer where the twosome introduces their character traits with a ‘seetimaar’ punching dialogue. While Aamir says, “Dhokha Swabhav Hai Mera,” to which Big B reverts, “..Aur Bharosa Mera.”..Indeed the audiences will throng the cinema halls to witness Amitabh Bachchan-Aamir Khan pitted against each other with Katrina’s oomphy ways & Fatima’s killer attitude in this visual extravaganza that releases on Diwali i.e. November 8, 2018. Take a look here and get blown away by THUGS OF HINDOSTAN:
