Think of a person who makes lesser, but good movies! Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan would be the name, and this year the actor would be seen in DANGAL, based on a real life story.

The actor just kicked off the promotions of his highly awaited sports biographical DANGAL where he plays Mahavir Singh Phogat, father of Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. Geeta Phogat became India's first female wrestler (55 kg category) to win the gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver in the same completion but in a different category (51 kg).

The inspirational tale that echoes the voice of woman empowerment with a chorus is an important film for our society, believes Aamir.

Speaking from his heart at a press meet, the actor reportedly said that in order to spread the message of women empowerment in large numbers, DANGAL should be granted tax–free status.

Elaborating further, the actor has being quoted saying, “I believe it’s a film which has the parameters of getting a tax exemption. So I think it falls under that category. But that’s not for me to decide. Ultimately, it is for the state governments in each state to decide that. But we will be applying for tax exemption and we are going to try for it before the release.”

Bollywood seems to be in the mood of making some good voice in support of women empowerment. After Big B's PINK, DANGAL seems to be another flag bearer on ‘naari shakti’ (woman power) and we support the perfectionist on this.
