AB TAK CHAPPAN villain in Ramu's CONTRACT

Prasad Purandare. Does the name ring a bell? Of course not! After all, ever since the release of AB TAK CHAPPAN, Prasad has hardly acted in any film. So let's tell a little more about this guy.

Enacting the role of Don Zameer in the Shimit 'Chak De India' Amin film, he was quite a revelation with a first rate act that got noticed in a big way. As the man who shared a unique love-hate relationship with the 'encounter cop' played by Nana Patekar, he held on to his own in each and every scene of his and was highly impressive throughout the film's narrative.

Now after a gap of 4 years, Prasad is returning to the big screen and the man responsible for that is none other than Ram Gopal Varma who himself who gave him a break in his production AB TAK CHAPPAN. Though not much is known about the character he plays in the film, Prasad certainly is one of the prime protagonists in CONTRACT, which is touted to be yet another gritty underworld saga by Ramu.

Well, one has to admit that Ramu continues to trust his prot?g?s to deliver and in CONTRACT he takes a step ahead with relatively newer faces filling up the entire cast of the film. Apart from Prasad, CONTRACT stars Sakshi Gulati, Vineet Sharma, Sadia Siddiqui, Saurabh Mahajan and Amruta Khanvilkar.

Produced by PVR Cinema and Ace Movie Company, CONTRACT is looking at a 18th July release.
