Sushant Singh made his film debut in 1998 with Ram Gopal Varma's SATYA. The actor has widely gained popularity in recent times as the anchor of TV show Savdhaan India.
He rose to stardom with the 2000 film JUNGLE and received rave reviews for portraying slain bandit, Durga Narayan Chaudhary.
He then went on to star in period dramas such as AMBEDKAR and THE LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH, and established himself in Bollywood.
Recently the actor urged people to help him with leads so that he could reach out to the "right people" as his sister Sofiya is suffering from a neurological disorder. He took it to a microblogging site to help him find the right people.
This is an appeal friends. My younger Sister Sofiya has been diagnosed with CIDP. An auto-immune disorder, the only treatment of Steroids and Immuno-suppressants isn’t working. Trying to find any new breakthrough, please RT and help us reach out to the right people. pic.twitter.com/idVOWm0Jlo— sushant singh (@sushant_says) September 7, 2018
