Ajay Devgn in RAID shows why some heroes doesn’t need uniforms

Based on longest raid of 1981 in Lucknow here comes Rajkumar Gupta’s RAID starring Ajay Devgn who plays a no-nonsense IT officer in the film.

Time and again Ajay has proved that when it comes to playing a fearless officer or cop no one can beat him. In this film too the actor plays a fierce officer who values honesty and principles over anything else. The tag line of the film says ‘Heroes don’t always come in uniform’ and the trailer shows us exactly that.

The trailer of the film was unveiled today and it looks very engaging and gripping. Set in the 80s, RAID is based on one of the most high profile raids the country has ever known and is the world’s first film on income tax raids.

A fearless IT officer carries out a non-stop raid at the mansion of the most powerful man in Lucknow. Will the powerful man manage to stop the raid or will the officer bring him down? For that we will have to wait for the films’ release.

Interestingly the trailer reminds you of Ajay’s past films GANGAAJAL and SINGHAM because of the topic it’s based on and even the look of Ajay’s character in RAID is similar to what he had in those two films. However unlike in GANGAAJAL and SINGHAM, Ajay Devgn is a hero without a uniform in RAID.
