Angelina Jolie's royal meeting with Countess of Wessex

The actress met Countess of Wessex Sophie, wife of Prince Edward, the Queen's youngest son at the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI) Film Festival – Fighting Stigma through Film reception. The event took place on 23rd of November, surprisingly the royal family publicized the meeting on social media after 3 days of the event.
In an image posted by the Royal Family social media page, Angelina is seen in a white outfit and shaking hands while talking to the Sophie at the during the event. PSVI helps raise awareness on sexual violence and encourages action towards ending the crime. On Friday The Countess of Wessex met UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie at the PSVI Film Festival - Fighting Stigma through Film reception at the British Film Institute. The PSVI Film Festival aims to raise awareness of this crime and encourage commitments to further action. It is also providing an opportunity for young filmmakers from conflict-affected and Commonwealth countries to fight stigma.

Events like PSVI provides an opportunity for young filmmakers from conflict-affected and Commonwealth countries to fight stigma. The two-day event screened nearly 40 films and documentaries from around the world — including Syria, Myanmar, and Nigeria — sharing stories of survivors and the inspiring people working alongside them. The festival helps fight the discrimination that survivors of sexual violence face. Angelina is the United Nations Special Envoy of the High Commissioner for Refugees, founded the PSVI alongside former foreign secretary Lord William Hague of Richmond in 2012.
After some days of the PSVI Countess of Wessex Sophie, hosted a fashion event at Buckingham Palace. The event celebrated 10 years of the London College of Fashion's Better Lives project. The countess looked in great spirits as she chatted with designers, artists and various magazine editors at the bash. Sophie looked incredible in a black skirt. Sophie teamed the blooming dress with a simple black cashmere roll neck jumper, black boots with delicate earrings and her favourite gold chain.
