Anupam Kher's reaction after losing out on BAFTA award

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is not only a great actor but also a humble down-to-earth person. While he has made his mark both in east and west, yet he continues to overwhelm us with his performance. And this is one actor who is not after awards but in truest sense about performing his best.

Though he could not win the  Best Supporting Actor Award at BAFTAS here.

He lost the race to  Irish actor Brian F. O'Byrne. However, the actor said he felt 'humbled' that he was nominated for it.

"Here is the speech I didn’t get to deliver on stage tonight at the @BAFTA Awards. I was not announced the winner among the four nominees for d #BestSupportingActor award. But I feel humbled & honoured. That small town Hindi medium boy from Shimla has come a long way. Jai Hind," Kher posted.

Kher, who is a popular actor in India, was nominated for the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards in 2018 for his work in the adaptation of Sathnam Sanghera's memoir \"The Boy with the Topknot\"

The award was won by O'Byrne for \"Little Boy Blue\".
