Last seen in FREAKY ALI, Arbaaz Khan, an actor, director, producer, a doting father, family man and an amazing human too, will now be seen in JEENA ISI KA NAAM HAI that is releasing this Friday, wherein he is seen opposite Manjiri Phadnnis.
In conversation with Arbaaz as he spills beans about his upcoming film, his next venture DABANGG 3, not being active on social media and much more...
Tell us about JEENA ISI KA NAAN HAI?
I had faith in the project. I think I made a wise decision, it is a beautiful film and a nice role. I was thrilled to work as there are so many talented actors in one frame.
There are several movies clashing on March 3, how do you as an actor and producer think about the clash?
There are so many films and every film has an audience. My two films are releasing one is JEENA ISI KA…. and KITTU UNNADU JAGRATHA which is a Telugu film.
Actor, director, producer what part of work do you enjoy the most?
I love and enjoy every aspect of life. Be it acting, directing or producing it’s all different, fun and a learning experience.
What is your favourite genre of movie to watch?
As a cine-goer, I like everything from action, drama, thriller, as a film maker I like making dramatic films.
DABANGG 3 is in news, when is the movie starting to roll?
Soon, very soon by this year we will start shooting and hopefully next year we shall release it. The cast isn’t locked yet!
Last film that you watched and like?
SULTAN and DANGAL.
Social media is rage and stars often post snaps, you seem to be away mostly any reason?
Yes, many of them post but I am not one of them. It’s not that I don’t hang out or go out for vacation with family but I don’t post. Usually during year end we take getaways. Sohail Khan is not even on social media; Salman Khan shares only work related posts while I am a bit active.
What are your upcoming projects?
TERA INTEZAAR with Sunny Leone.
There are so many new age actors, who is your favourite?
I like Varun Dhawan!
