Arjun Kapoor is making waves for his quintessential lover boy character in Karan Johar's 2 STATES opposite Alia Bhatt. While everybody is appreciating their electrifying chemistry in the film, what caught our attention was actor Anil Kapoor's presence in one of making videos of the movie.

When quizzed Arjun about the reason for his Anil chachu's presence on the sets of 2 STATES, he explains, ''He was shooting for '24' next door. He had come to check the energy and vibe on the sets and said mind-blowing, fantastic, superb the energy I like it I like it I like it...!''

While Arjun's reply clarified our doubt about Anil Kapoor's possible cameo in 2 STATES, our next obvious question was when do we see the Chacha-Bhatija working together? Reveals Arjun, ''Please put it out there that if somebody offers us a script we would love to do it. But we aren't offered something together at least nothing serious enough to be considered. There have been lots of people who said it would be interesting to cast us together but nobody has comeback with a script.''

CHECK OUT: Arjun Kapoor - I'm a firm believer of live-in relationship!

So aren't they sharing screen space in their home production TEVAR and he admits, ''I hardly doubt that Anil chachu would be doing a cameo in TEVAR. I really think that we should not become so frivolous in making film that we should exploit our family members. At least this is my belief.''

He reasons further, ''Again TEVAR is an entertaining film and it is not like that they are making a serious film. If there is a reason that he can be incorporated or he wishes to be a part of it, we will try and reason to organically add him in it. But that will be quite a waste to stand together for a minute in a film. It will be more interesting to do proper character as fellow actors rather than just uncle and nephew.''

Meanwhile, 2 STATES, directed by Abhishek Varman and jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, stars Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Revathy, Amrita Singh, Ronit Roy and is all set to release on April 18, 2014.
