Ayushmann Khurrana who plays the lead in Sriram Raghavan's thriller THE PIANO PLAYER, is now taking special Piano classes; for his character in the movie. Ayushmann who is in Pune shooting for THE PIANO PLAYER, in which he plays a visually challenged pianist.
Speaking about the same, Ayushmann says, “It was not just about playing the piano, it was more about getting the nuances correct to portray the visual impairment bit perfectly. It’s a different thing to just play the piano properly, but here, he needs to express he’s blind and still be able to play it well.”
Given that Ayushmann loves anything related to music, this shoot must double the fun for him.
Interestingly, the film is said to be based on a 1960 French crime drama film by the name Shoot THE PIANO PLAYER. It was the adaptation of Down There by author David Goodis.
Radhika Apte will be sharing the screen space with Ayushmann for the first time, apart from Radhika, Tabu will also be seen in an pivotal role.
