BAAHUBALI fame Rana Daggubati commences shoot of his Hindi - Telugu bilingual GHAZI
South actor Rana Daggubati better known as Bhallala Deva in the last year’s magnum opus BAAHUBALI, has commenced the shoot of his Hindi – Telugu bilingual – GHAZI. The movie is said to be India's first submarine-based war film and is based on the true incidents on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan submarine during the Indo-Pak 1971 war.

The actor made the announcement by posting the development on micro blogging site saying, “Pushing my experimental envelope towards mainstream cinema yet again!! #GHAZI (Hindi-Telugu bi-lingual) begins filming today!!
To be helmed by Sankalp - the author of Blue Fish: The War Beneath, GHAZI will see Taapsee Pannu playing a refugee; the movie will be partially based on the author’s book.
GHAZI is a story about an executive naval officer of the Indian submarine S21 and his team who remain underwater for 18 days.
