Producer director Guddu Dhanoa is elated and it is difficult for him to conceal his excitement. Reason? His film BIG BROTHER has opened to a favorable response in spite of the fact that it comes 4 years after its announcement and hasn't found a wide multiplex release.
'In spite of the fact that my film didn't get a good multiplex release, I am very happy with the way it is doing all over with Mumbai being an only exception', says Dhanoa who has delivered numerous action potboilers like ELAAN, AFLATOON, ZIDDI, SALAKHEN and JAAL in the past.
'Agreed that audience in Mumbai hasn't been quite kicked about the film but in Delhi and Punjab it has opened to a very good response. The best reports are coming from UP where the film is already being acclaimed a SUPERHIT. Saurashtra and Bihar are good too which makes BIG BROTHER a clean single screen success', says a delighted Dhanoa.
How about the accusations of BIG BROTHER seeing Sunny repeat himself? 'I can't help but just let it pass away if something like this is being said', Guddu says with a hint of disappointment, 'I don't know why a Guddu-Sunny film is labeled as an action flick without even checking the credentials. My film has a strong undercurrent of emotions as the tagline also says that 'Every film has a hero'. BIG BROTHER too is a family film but somehow critics choose to ignore that point. Well, the film's success amongst audience says it all!'
