Bipasha not a glam-doll in JODI BREAKERS!
Ever since her debut flick AJNABEE, Bipasha has been tagged as a femme fatale. The trend has continued right from the days of JISM and DHOOM 2 to her recent films like BACHNA AE HASEENO, RACE or PLAYERS. While she doesn't mind upping the sensuality quotient, especially after audience didn't quite lap up her AAKROSH or DUM MAARO DUM, Bipasha is happy that once in a while she is just being herself in a film like JODI BREAKERS where directors are thinking beyond her set on-screen image.

"Bipasha has been there for more than a decade in the industry and still remains to be one of the most glamorous actresses. Being glamorous is her USP and there haven't been many of her contemporaries who have stayed in the industry for as long as she has. Still, sometimes she just gets tired of doing the same thing over and over again if a film doesn't offer her much variety," says a friend of Bipasha.

It's due to this very reason that when JODI BREAKERS came her way, she did consent to it after some due thinking as she felt that it was a good opportunity for her to get into a romcom space.
"She has done romcoms like ALL THE BEST and BACHNA AE HASEENO but the she wasn't a central protagonist there. Also, there weren't many scenes where she could display her comic timing," the friend continues, "JODI BREAKERS is in an altogether different space though since it is designed as a breezy comic entertainer. Also, with Madhavan in the lead, the film gains certain credibility."
No wonder Bipasha was glad to be on board for the film though on director Ashwini Chaudhary's insistence, she couldn't resist the temptation of turning ultra-glam for the song 'Bipasha' which has been titled on her. Says Bipasha who is visibly glad to have gone through an image makeover for this film, "Well, it's for just a song though for the rest of the film, I would be seen in a comic mode."
Well, we look forward to your comic touch here Bipasha.
