Bollywood Box Offce Report Of The Week: 5th April 2018

This week will see an interesting clash between some master actors. Yes. Irrfan Khan’s BLACKMAIL will take on Manoj Bajpayee and Tabu starrer MISSING. While both films will appeal to the fans of great acting, given the much better promotion and mounting BLACKMAIL holds the edge. Having said that, the week old BAAGHI 2 will give a tough competition to both BLACKMAIL and MISSING.

Last week saw a solo release in the form of Ahmed Khan’s Tiger Shroff starrer BAAGHI 2. The Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studio’s production venture , belying expectations, opened on a superb note netting 25 crore on its opening day and ended the weekend with a massive 74 crore . The film is rock steady on the weekdays too and is on way to a blockbuster status. BAAGHI 2 is also superb in the overseas (especially US) grossing $3.5m with £145,000 from UK and $650,000 ( higher than earlier reports) from the US during the opening weekend (March 30 – April1).

RAID has performed very well in the overseas (good in US) grossing £175,000 from UK and $1,001,000 from the US, till the third weekend (March 30 – April1).
