The coming Friday will witness the releases of the first major Hindi ventures post SANJU, Sony Pictures Networks’ Diljit, Taapsee and Angad starrer SOORMA and Krushna Abhishek and Rajneish Duggal starrer TERI BHABHI HAI PAGLE. While the Shaad Ali directed SOORMA is a sports biopic based on the life of legendary drag flicker, Hockey champ Sandeep Singh and is likely to appeal to target audience who patronise such films and it should do well in Delhi-NCR and East Punjab, TERI BHABHI HAI PAGLE too should find limited patronage from youth and lovers of light-hearted comedies. However, a still sizzling hot two-week old SANJU will be too tough for the new releases to handle.

Meanwhile, none of the new releases, Ali Fazal’s FOR HERE OR TO GO? (which was mainly for the festival circuit), ADRISHYA and HANUMAN VS MAHIRAVANA (animated) could make any mark whatsoever and it was almost an open field for SANJU to continue its exploits at the ticket window.
