The coming Friday will witness the bumper opening of Tips Music Films and Salman Khan Films’ RACE 3. The Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline, Saqib and Daisy starrer is expected to embark on a big start and collect upwards of 35 crore during the opening day and much more if Eid-ul-Fitr falls on Friday! While all that is fine, RACE 3 does not carry the immense hype that Salman’s last film TIGER ZINDA HAI had, nor does the audio have a ‘Swag’ or ‘Dil Diya Gallan’, so the same business as TZH is not expected from the film, though it will surely surpass the business of the previous two RACE editions by a big margin!

The two releases of last week, megastar Rajnikanth’s KAALA (all versions) along with JURASSIC WORLD : FALLEN KINGDOM, managed 65 crore and 38 crore respectively, during the opening week. Having said that, given the huge cost of KAALA, it’ll be the latest JURASSIC franchise which will emerge as the commercial success from the two.
