Bollywood Box Office Report Of The Week: 14th Nov 2018
It’s almost an open Friday as there are no significant Hindi releases. We do have names like, PK LELE A SALESMAN etc. and Hollywood ventures, AQUAMAN and computer animated superhero film, SPIDERMAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE. From above, its only AQUAMAN that is expected to achieve something significant at the box-office and most likely to affect, 2.0, rather than Sushant-Sara’s KEDARNATH. Having said that one can’t help but mention Riteish Deshmukh’s MAULI (Marathi), which is sure impress in the Mumbai circuit.
Checking out last Friday’s Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor’s KEDARNATH, the film moved from strength-to-strength netting 28 crore during the opening weekend and is sure to end up as a creditable success! KEDARNATH has also performed very well in the overseas (read as US) grossing £52,000 from UK and $408,000 from the US, during the opening weekend (7-9 December).

The film has also impressed in the overseas grossing £690,000 from UK and $4,850,000 from the US, till the second weekend (7-9 December).
Concluding with Junglee Pictures’ Ayushmann, Sanya and Nina Gupta starrer, BADHAAI HO, the film added another 2 .50 crore, thus netting 135.50 crore in seven weeks from India and is a blockbuster hit. BADHAAI HO is also an overseas super hit grossing over $6.50m with £315,000 from UK and $3,000,000 from the US.
