This Friday’s mega release, Aanand L Rai’s Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina & Anushka starrer ZERO has everything going for it. The intelligently crafted promos as well as audio have ensured that there is a huge hype and curiosity for the film. There is no doubt that the film will open to a good to bumper houses. In fact ZERO appears to be a mass plus class deal and if that indeed turns out to be the case, there is no stopping the film. 
 
Checking out  last week’s PK LELE A SALESMAN (adult comedy) etc. and  Hollywood ventures, AQUAMAN and computer animated superhero film, SPIDERMAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE ; from the list it was just AQUAMAN that made a mark during the opening weekend, netting 25 crore.

Concluding with Shankar’s Rajnikanth-Akshay starrer, 2.0, the film saw a big fall in the second week but the huge first one (138 crore) had already accomplished the task. Adding another 38 crore, 2.0 (Hindi) has netted 176 crore in two weeks from India and is a super hit. The film is also an overseas super hit, grossing £730,000 from UK and $5,300,000 from the US, till the third weekend (14-16 December).
