This week will see the release of Sudhir Mishra’s Richa Chaddha starrer DAAS DEV, Hrishita Bhatt’s ISHQ TERA and above all the Hollywood venture, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR etc. Why we are saying ‘above all’ is due to the fact that AVENGERS is sure to decimate all other films releasing alongside, and in all versions. Having said that DAAS DEV too may find it’s fair share of admirers amongst the discerning audience.

Coming to last Friday’s two major releases, Faraz Haider’s NANU KI JAANU and renowned Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s BEYOND THE CLOUDS, the audience did not quite take to either, though the Abhay Deol starrer expectedly lead the show comprehensively. Coming to number crunching, while NANU KI JAANU netted 3.50 crore, BEYOND THE CLOUDS could muster just around 1.25 crore, both during the opening weekend.
