This Friday’s solo release is Ahmed Khan’s Tiger Shroff starrer, BAAGHI 2. The Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studio’s production venture is expected to take a good to decent start, not only at single screens but multiplexes as well. Reports of an encouraging advance booking trends more so at multiplexes are already coming in from across India as the audience is awaiting an all out lavishly mounted massy action flick after a long time (read, TIGER ZINDA HAI). Additionally brand BAAGHI too has added to the hype.

Checking out T-Series’ Urvashi Rautela starrer HATE STORY 4, the film crashed in the second week but managed to add another 2 crore thus netting 21 crore in two weeks from India and is a below average fare given the cost and recovery from non theatrical rights.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma’s horror flick PARI is ending its creditable run and added another 1.50 crore thus netting 27.50 crore in three weeks from India and ends up as a praiseworthy break even project, after accounting for all the rights.

Netting in excess of 60 crore during its opening week from India, RAID is a sure shot success. RAID has also done well in the overseas (especially US), grossing £152,000 from UK and $822,000 from the US, till the second weekend (3-5 March).
The major release of last week YRF’s Rani Mukerji starrer HICHKI which started on a slow note saw a good pick up and ended the weekend with a healthy haul of 16 crore and the way the weekdays have progressed, the film should end up with a good 25 crore plus in its kitty. The film has also performed reasonably in the overseas grossing $1.2m with £55,000 from UK and $331,000 from the US, during the opening weekend (3-5 March).
The other two releases, Manish Paul’s BAA BAA BLACK SHEEP and Rajpal Yadav’s SHAADI TERI BAJAYENGE HUM BAND have been rejected.
