The coming Friday will witness about half a dozen releases - DOBAARA, Manisha Koirala’s DEAR MAYA, Konkona Sen Sharma’s A DEATH IN THE GUNJ, MIRROR GAME - AB KHEL SHURU, SWEETIE WEDS NRI and JUNOON-ONCE UPON A TIME IN CALCUTTA and HANUMAN DA’ DAMDAAR (animated) along with Priyanka Chopra’s BAYWATCH (dubbed) etc. Needless to add that the clash will result in a nothing sort of a situation, with just A DEATH IN THE GUNJ, DOBAARA and HANUMAN DA’ DAMDAR harbouring some chances.

Meanwhile, last week saw the release of SACHIN : A BILLION DREAMS (docu-feature) and the film put up an inspired performance (given the genre), thanks to Sachin Tendulkar’s still intact fame. During the opening weekend, SACHIN netted 25 crore while the dubbed versions added another 4-5 crore and is all set to be a profitable venture.

BAAHUBALI 2 : THE CONCLUSION is an all time overseas blockbuster grossing over $32m with £1,325,000 (Hindi plus Tamil) from UK and $20,500,000 from the US, till the fifth weekend (26-28 May).
