Bollywood Box Office Report Of The Week: 5th Dec 2019

This Friday will witness an interesting clash between Kartik Aryan’s PATI PATNI AUR WOH and Arjun Kapoor’s PANIPAT.

There is no doubt that given Kartik’s fan following amongst the young generation, PP &W is going to be the front runner though the director of PANIPAT, Ashutosh too has a reputation as far as historicals are concerned!

Checking out the major new release of the week, Reliance Entertainment’s Vidyut-Adah starrer COMMANDO 3. The film saw a decent start but improved as the days progressed netting 19 crore during the opening weekend, and the reasonable hold during the weekdays augurs well for the film.

The other two releases of the week,  YEH SAALI AASHIQUI and HOTEL MUMBAI, could not find much of an audience.

The film is also a good (read as US) overseas success grossing $4m with £195,000  from UK and $1,900,000  from the US, till the fourth weekend (29 Nov-01 Dec).
