The coming Friday will witness the solo release of Akshay Kumar's PADMAN as Siddharth Malhotra's AIYAARY has been pushed to Feb 16. While PAD MAN will make the mark with the target audience especially females, it will be hit hard by the two week old PADMAAVAT.

The only significant release of last week, Deepak Dobriyal’s KULDEEP PATWAL: I DID’NT DO IT is a washout.

PADMAAVAT has also performed wonderfully in the overseas grossing over $20m, with £1,530,000 from UK and $8,900,500 just from the US, till the second weekend (2-4 Feb).

Concluding with YRF’s Ali Abbas Zafar directed Salman-Katrina starrer, TIGER ZINDA HAI, the film added another 3 crore thus netting 340 crore in six weeks from India. The blockbuster hit has overtaken Aamir Khan’s PK and is now the second highest netter (Hindi), behind DANGAL. TIGER ZINDA HAI is also an overseas blockbuster, grossing $20.30m with £1,720,000 from UK and $5,570,000 from the US.
