Bollywood crew shooting in snow-covered Manali

The abundant snow shrouding the hill station of Manali is being put to good use by Bollywood director Mani Shankar, who is shooting at the picturesque resort with stars like Ajay Devgan and Suniel Shetty.

Despite the low temperatures, locals and tourists are gathering in large numbers on the outskirts of the hill station every day to watch the stars in action.

The film, "Tengo (sic) Charlie", is based on the autobiography of a member of the Border Security Force (BSF).

Actor Aditya Pancholi twisted his ankle while shooting Tuesday and returned to Mumbai. Pancholi slipped on frozen snow soon after stepping out of his jeep.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Bobby Deol and Tanisha. While Deol has been in Manali since last week, Devgan and Aditya Pancholi reportedly arrived Monday.

Manali received 135 cm of snowfall over the weekend, the heaviest of the season.
