Stars such as John Abraham, Aamir Khan, Chak De Girls, Boman Irani, Suresh Menon, Rajpal Yadav, Irfaan Khan, Ayesha Takia, Rakhi Sawant and Ajay Devgan have been part of this very successful property.
Satish, from Madison, Delhi, was the winner of the MiD Day- Make Work Fun - Bollywood Lunch Contest. He was delighted at having won the contest and excited by the prospect of the Bollywood stars visiting his office. He said he was looking forward to the movie, and that he felt a bit like a minor celebrity himself, given the attention he was receiving from office mates, by being the cause of this fun activity. He also endorsed the activity as a great idea from MiD DAY as it ensured a really fun day for everyone.
Kunal Deshmukh, Director of JANNAT said, "I think it's a very innovative contest, and that's why we were inspired to participate. Normally one hears of contests where the winner gets to go out with the stars. But having the stars come to the office is a novel idea. It certainly creates a great buzz."
There were many light and frothy moments through the afternoon. People gathered to take photos, get autographs, ask about the experience of shooting the movie, getting to know the stars of JANNAT. The spirit of celebration was tangible as the three of them walked around the office and met with folks at their desk. They took photos with all the different teams, signed posters and chatted with office folk.
Abhijit Pradhan, Director Sales & Marketing, commented, "MiD DAY's efforts have been focused on maximizing engagement with the urban, professional audience that make up MiD DAY's readership base. The MiD DAY-Make Work Fun- Bollywood Lunch Contest is an excellent example of this effort."
