B-town adds glitz, glamour, colors as they shine at LFW 2018

Lakme Fashion Week 2018 was a star studded one, the most important colors this year was pastel, whites and some prints that blew our mind. Designers along with their brigade work for months to present a show that is classy and worth being showcased. A theme is chosen by every designer to define the thoughts that motivated the designer to make the collection. Every designer puts their best foot forward to showcase their designs in front of an audience that is full of fashion critics and industry biggies. From Anita Dogre, Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani to Falguni Shane Peacock and Rajesh Pratap Singh, we’ve lined up the best of the lot for you. Unlike international runways.

LFW 2018 ended on a flawless note with sisters Kareena Kapoor and Karisma, who made head-turning appearances as showstoppers. Dressed in a stunning black ensemble, Kareena walked the runway for designer Anamika Khanna.

Riteish Deshmukh and Amit Sadh walked the ramp for designer Shantanu & Nikhil, Kartik Aaryan walked the ramp for Amit Wadhwa. Jackky Bhagnani stuns the auidnce with his walk and smile at the LFW 2018, Fashion designer Narendra Kumar unveiled his collection 'The Fake Show' on Day Five of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018. Kumar clothing line is spread across the spectrum of largely monochrome and he accentuated the blurred line between black-and-white. Rahul Khanna floored everyone with his look and looked charming.

Kajal Aggarwal, Saiyami Kher, Pooja Hegde, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nushrat Bharucha look stunning at LFW 2018.

Swara Bhaskar looked stunning in white anarkali . Diana Penty made quite a statement as she walked the ramp. Bollywood beauty Dia Mirza looked gorgeous as she stepped out in a full-sleeved ruby red blouse, matched with ochré -gold toned sari with shimmering embroidery that comprised gold zari work, stones and sequins. Tisca Chopra looked elegant in gold saree.

Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vaani Kapoor and Sania Mirza walk the ramp at LFW 2018 and enthrall the audience.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra walked Jayanti Reddy’s show in a grey three-piece look. While Sushmita Sen played ivory bride for Kotwara. while The fourth day of the summer/resort 2018 edition of Lakmé Fashion Week saw standout shows by labels Payal Singhal, Lovebirds and Shantanu & Nikhil. Aditi Rao Hydari played showstopper for Payal Singhal’s offering for the season, ‘Saira’. The designer showcased wedding and occasion wear in a modern light that was inspired by the influences of Islamic culture on art, architecture and beyond.Aditi Rao Hydari looked pretty in fully embroidered lehenga which she teamed with a netted dupatta and matching blouse. she completed her look with statement earrings and golden bangles.

Actor Bipasha Basu turned showstopper for designer Reshma Kunhi 'Lotus' on Day 4 of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018. Bipasha looked Bipasha looked red hot in a heavily embroidered red silhouette.The designs were a mix of traditional Indian wear with a global appeal and were aimed at the modern Indian woman who wears everything from skirts to lehengas.The designer chose bold hues and fabrics like handloom silk, organza, tulle and other specialized blends.Apart from that, the designer took minute nuances that Involves embroidery ranged from hand knotting work to exquisite zari work, sequins, pearls, thread work, metal accents, ruffles, tassels and pleats that highlighted each piece in patterns, which reflected all aspects of a lotus's lifecycle, from bud to bloom. Karan Singh Grover wore a white shirt paired with a pink jacket and pink pants. Karan walked for Raamz for their Summer #Resort collection - Boho Men.

Sridevi and daughter Janhvi Kapoor walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week. The mother-daughter duo were dressed in designer Anamika Khanna outfits. Sridevi wore a grey-coloured dhoti-style jumpsuit with embroidered jacket while Janhvi was dressed in a quirky ivory white printed outfit. She paired her look with a pair of golden danglers. They posed for the media together and were holding each other's hands. Sridevi sported an outfit and completed her look with a top bun and bright lipstick. On the other hand daughter Janhvi Kapoor looked pretty in printed outfit. She looked breathtakingly beautiful with open hair and statement earrings

The ebony collection led to the most awaited moment of the night, Kareena Kapoor Khan's arrival. Looking nothing less than spectacular, Kareena took to the stage in a black fabric work cropped top, a broad belt and a matching skirt. Complementing her look was dramatic winged eye makeup, slicked back hair, chunky earrings and nude lips. The audience couldn't stop clicking and we can see why. Last year it was Lakme Fashion Week in which Kareena Kapoor Khan had walked the ramp with her a baby bump. Now she rocked the stage again this year in a fit avatar. On the other hand Husband Saif Ali Khan made a grand entry in an high-neck kurta and trousers.
