Celina Jaitley is pained that her mentor Feroz Khan is no more. It was way back in 2003 when Feroz Khan had launched her with JANASHEEN. Though Yusuf Khan directed KHEL had released a few months earlier, it's the film for which she faced the camera for the first time, JANASHEEN, which holds a special place in her heart.
In Bangalore for the funeral of Feroz Khan who passed away in the early hours of Monday, Celina says goodbye to the man whom she has considered as her friend and mentor over the years. ''I bid farewell to the man who has been my friend, mentor and the soul mate. There were so many things we talked about and so much that I learnt from him. He will always be there for me as my courage'', she says. CHECK OUT: Feroz Khan-End of an era in Indian music
Emotionally charged about the man who showed confidence in her when she was pretty raw after her beauty queen stint in 2001 (as a finalist in Miss Universe 2001 contest), she goes on to add, ''He used to call me 'Celine Baby'. Today he may have gone but the love and support that he gave me would always remain as a part of my heart. I wait for the day when we would meet again back in God's hand where it all began.''
While JANASHEEN (where Celina was paired with Fardeen Khan) was the last film directed by Feroz Khan, she appeared with Fardeen once again in NO ENTRY which stays on to be her biggest hit till date.
