Watchmen's first look raises more questions than it answers

The first look at Damon Lindelof's Watchmen HBO TV series has been posted on Instagram. The page uploaded a mysterious teaser image that depicts a masked-man in a police uniform. Fans are confused as, who exactly is that masked man or why is it wearing the iconic yellow mask? Only time will answer all those questions till then everyone has to wait for the next post.

The Watchmen TV show is kind of a sequel to Dave Gibbons and Alan Moore's 1980s comic book series, which appears to take place in the present-day Watchmen universe.

The video featuring a person clad in a uniform and a yellow full face mask which was posted with the caption "Who Watches the Watchmen?"

Damon Lindelof, a comic book writer who was also known for the series Lost, is going to bring back the latest adaptation of Watchmen, tackling the same iconic story as Zack Snyder's film from 2009. The new series has cast members Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Louis Gossett Jr., Frances Fisher and Tim Blake Nelson on board in the first season. Watchmen is expected to premiere in 2019.
