The first teaser trailer for Disney's live-action ALADDIN has arrived, starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott and Will Smith. The teaser provides a first look at the film's spectacular visuals and iconic music, while we also get look at Mena Massoud as Aladdin. But don’t expect a look of the iconic Genie just yet.
The teaser doesn't reveal much, Iago, Jafar's parrot, makes an appearance, we can also see Agrabah, the fictional city in which the story takes place. The scene soon transitions to the Cave of Wonders, with Jafar standing out, as Aladdin disappears inside while the voice of the guardian of the cave says, "only one may enter here, one whose worth lies far within, the diamond in the rough". While fans were eager to see Genie and Jasmine but have to wait until the next trailer.
A few days back, Will Smith shared the first poster of the film, in which he plays Genie, the actor captioned, "LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE!"
Guy Ritchie will be directing the film. ALADDIN is a remake of the 1992 animated film that starred Robin Williams as Genie, which went on to win two Oscars. ALADDIN is set to hit theatres on May 24, 2019.

While ALADDIN is just one of many live-action adaptations of Disney animated movies, the film includes, The Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, Dumbo, The Little Mermaid, Lady and the Tramp and Mulan are set to receive live-action films.
