Will Smith has been cast in the role of the Genie, taking on one of the most difficult jobs in film history, as one of the most iconic roles of one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood, Robin Williams. The live-action teaser features the iconic opening scene from the classic animation along with the much-beloved theme from 1992.

Relive the magic again in Guy Ritchie's live-action ALADDIN, the film stars, Will Smith as Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari plays Jafar, and Billy Magnussen plays Prince Anders, a new character created for the film. ALADDIN is set to release on November 24, 2019.

The 26-year-old Mena Massoud actor will be seen playing Aladdin in the live-action remake, and he paid tribute to the original film’s 26th anniversary. he wrote, \"Happy 25th anniversary to #Aladdin & #Disney! Original star Scott Weinger shared on his social media page a throwback picture of him with co-star Linda Larkin, the actors provided the voices of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. \"Hey Princess @lindalarkinofficial can you believe #Aladdin was released 25 years ago today? I'd lie to you about being a prince just to fly you around the world on a Magic Carpet all over again ????.\"
