There are few things left in the world that are pure and good. ALADDIN, which came out 26 years ago, might just be one of these things. The masterpiece that’s loved just as much today as it was back then, the animated film released in 1992. The movie that captured hearts around the globe with its epic love story, with late Robin Williams' iconic performance as the Genie and memorable songs, especially A Whole New World.
The animation was stunning and still, it's as good as today's animation and music by great Alan Menken has stood time. It was funny, beautiful, the songs were great, the story is just perfect. As far as Disney films go, it's just the best. The charming young Aladdin and his epic friendship with Genie and true love for Jasmine gave us life goals and his courage against Jafar's chilling plans really made this magical story that we will never forget.
Meanwhile, Disney last month dropped ALADDIN's live-action remake teaser and gosh it's just nostalgic we just can't keep calm as it really gave many fans goosebumps and why not the generation that has grown up watching the classic.
Will Smith has been cast in the role of the Genie, taking on one of the most difficult jobs in film history, as one of the most iconic roles of one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood, Robin Williams. The live-action teaser features the iconic opening scene from the classic animation along with the much-beloved theme from 1992.
As Disney's 1992 animated feature ALADDIN turned 26, the beloved movie's actors went on to wish it a happy anniversary.
