The visual extravaganza TUMBBAD which took six years in making faced one of the most difficult schedules shooting in the TUMBBAD village.
The makers of the film chose to shoot in the real TUMBBAD which is a remote village in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. As the film is set in the 30s and 40s ear, the team had to recreate the period in the real village.
Additionally, they had to shoot only in monsoon as the script required shooting in constant rains. The entire team always used to be on standby for the rains as it was required to add to its essence.
Ever since the release of its trailer, TUMBBAD has been creating a lot of buzz and a huge anticipation amongst the audience to witness the film on screen.
