When asked Manoj about his film NAAM SHABANA, he said, “I liked the role and concept of the film, it’s a spin off. Talking about my role I play an agent, the role is defined well and it was nice working with the entire tea, especially Taapsee, who is an amazing and hardworking girl.”

As we all know Manoj always chooses different roles. On being asked what he looks into a script when he has to choose the film, he said “I should feel the character. I should understand the mindset and I also keep in mind how will audience react to a certain role, and nowadays I feel the audience has widened with respect to adapting characters.” adds Manoj.

Needless to say Manoj has raised the bar higher for various actors and isn’t seen doing atypical conventional films. When quizzed Manoj if he would romance on silver screen ever, he said, “Why not? Definitely, but I am not ready to play a young guy romancing on silver screen. I would love to play a guy of my age onscreen and I am totally up for romantic roles as well, but would want to play a matured romantic role.”

As we have seen Manoj acing several characters one of his best works includes BUDHIA SINGH. We asked him what kind of films his daughter is fond of and which of his films she likes, he said, “My daughter is typical girl she likes all Disney movies. But she really liked my film BUDHIA SINGH.”
Lastly when probed him which is his best work according to him, he said, “I am actor and I like all my films but I personally like my role in MISSING which will release this year. I feel this is my best work so far.”

Here’s wishing Manoj all the very best for future endeavours!
