Exclusive: Naveen Kasturia’s advice for young actors is awe-inspiring!

Naveen Kasturia is a popular face on web series as well as film and most importantly ad world! The actor has starred in the critically acclaimed web series Pitchers by TVF in which he played the role of Naveen Bansal - one of the principal characters who along with his other friends including Jitendra Maheshwari (played by Jitendra Kumar a.k.a Jeetu) quit their jobs to form their own start up.
He had also recently appeared in Alt Balaji's web series Bose: Dead/Alive in which he played the role of Darbari Lal, a hawaldar of the British Raj police force who is spying on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (played by Rajkummar Rao) and doubles up as the narrator of the story.
The actor had also starred in the recently released HOPE AUR HUM which also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Kulkarni.
His credits include the feature film SULEMAANI KEEDA and the noted short films Skin Deep (written by Vikramaditya Motwane) and Int. Cafe Night directed by Adhiraj Bose and which also starred Naseeruddin Shahand Shweta Basu Prasad.
Besides this he has also worked as an assistant director on Dibakar Banerjee's Shanghai, LSD: LOVE, SEX AUR DHOKHA and Oscar winner Danis Tanovic's TIGERS. Naveen has couple of projects in hand and is also riding high with the good reviews of his last film HOPE AUR HUM.
In exclusive conversation with Naveen he spills about his journey in the industry, the hardships and how he wishes to progress ahead in future.
An elated Naveen spoke about working with Naseeruddin Shah Naveen says, “ It’s definitely great to work with him, its indeed a learning experience and I am glad people appericated me for the film.”
when asked about his journey in Bollywood he aveers, “I started with LSD, post which I was offered similar roles and then I decided to take up roles which had different shades, character and then i decided to do Bose web series and with a small role i got the due, I am glad that people started connecting me after the web series of TVF.”
On being asked, was it hard for him at a point to get work of his choice to which he said, “ Yes, like every actor I too had my share of ups and down and now I am happy that there is room for everyone here in this industry, getting work is not hard getting the right one that fits you in is a task. I am not choosy, but yes I want to do diverse roles”
Lastly when asked him as he has made his mark in all the platforms what does he have to say to the budding actors, “I am glad that I have been part of various platforms, the only thing I would want to tell them is believing and keeping patience is a must.”
