Exclusive: Sharvi Yadav shares her journey from being a pub singer to bagging VEERE DI WEDDING

Ace, musician Sharvi Yadav who is just a 23 years old vocalist was seen in international music show, The Stage 2 which airs on Colors Infinity and Vh1.

She has been into music since a very young age, Sharvi Yadav gave her voice for Sonam Kapoor’s VEERE DI WEDDING. It so happened that while Sharvi was seen performing at the reality show Sonam Kapoor likes her performance and promised her to give a break in the film, keeping up her promise she did so and offered Sharvi a song in VEERE DI WEDDING.

Young and budding singer Sharvi loves Vishal Dadlani, Ehsaan Noorani, Devraj Sanyal, and Monica Dogra as musicians .

Sharvi has been performing in small pubs in Delhi trying to get the recognition. she also perfomed at the LightHouse Music Festival where she sang as the same stage as Clinton cerejo and Jonita Gandhi She later on went on to perform at HornBill Festival ( India's biggest rock concert) where she shared the same stage as Kailash Kher.

Sharvi has also sung at Asia's biggest bollywood Concert BMP in Delhi. Shared the same stage as- Guru Randhawa, Shalmali, Shefali Alvaris, Vishal Bhardwaj, Euphoria, Mohd.Irfan, and many more.

In exclusive conversation with Sharvi as she spoke about how she bagged the film VEERE DI WEDDING, her future projcts as well as what ahs she learnt from her mentors.

Sharvi says, “ After a year of dubbing scratches for different movies and music directors, I met Vishal Mishra and he told me how much i loved my voice and that ill be the new voice in his upcoming movie with Rhea kapoor and that’s how I bagged VEERE DI WEDDING. I am so glad that I got the oppournity to sing for one of the biggest films at such an early start of my career. Infact I cannot emphasis more on the fact that he is such a beautiful human being and an INCREDIBLE music director.”

When asked her how has her mentors gudided her with her carrer she says, “ I am thankful that Vishal, Monica and many more whom I met have been extremely helpful and supportive and liked my music. I will always look upto them. I know there is competition here but I can only get work or sing songs that I get or which suit my voice this is what I like about this industry, everyone gets everything looking at their capability”

Lastly when asked her what are the instruments she knows to play as well as what are her upcoming projects to which she said, “I know piano and I wish to learn many more. there are many things lined up as soon as I get can reveal I will say it.”
