Filmy cop Devgan's brush with the real cops

Ajay DevganThe cast and crew of Ajay Devgan's film (with a working title SUNDAY) where Ajay plays a cop, had a harrowing time, last weekend (Saturday) in New Delhi.

According to our sources, while shooting at Delhi's Tughlak road police station, the films crew changed the signboard to make it appear like Chankyapuri police station, without any official permission. Apparently in the shot Ajay (in a police officer's get up) was to be shown getting down from a jeep and going inside the Chanakyapuri police station. Not only that, when the station incharge Madanjeet Singh Randhawa returned with his team (after Delhi municipal election related duty), to his horror he saw the unit using his room, where a lot of classified documents/records were kept, once again without any permission.

After talking to Devgan, the films unit was allowed to leave but three members of the unit were detained and put up in the lock up, but were later released after tendering an apology.
