Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan's wax statue was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong recently. Varun Dhawan attended the unveiling of his wax statue in Hong Kong with his parents David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan. He is a second Bollywood actor to have a wax statue in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong after Amitabh Bachchan. Varun's wax statue is seen flaunting the chiselled body & fab abs while doing the signature step of the song “Saturday Saturday” from the movie HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA, a good news for all Varun fans, who can now ogle at his abs 24*7. While unveiling the statue Varun also struck a similar pose. Parents David and Karuna struck a pose with Varun’s wax statue at the museum.
Varun Dhawan debuted in Bollywood in 2012's STUDENT OF THE YEAR directed by Karan Johar. He followed it up with films such as HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA, BADLAPUR, MAIN TERA HERO, DILWALE, JUDWAA 2.
His next projects are OCTOBER and SUI DHAAGA: MADE IN INDIA
OCTOBER is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar. He will be working with Banita Sandhu in this film.The shooting was wrapped in November 2017. It is scheduled to release on 13 April 2018. He will also be seen in SUI DHAAGA: MADE IN INDIA. He will be working with Anushka Sharma in this film.
