As usual the Big B is here, there and everywhere. Immediately after shooting for Rituparno Ghosh's "The Last Lear" in Mussoorie, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan started shooting here for an ad.
"It (the ad) is with Raj Kumar Hirani and it's for Emami," Amitabh told IANS.
This is his first tryst with the "Munnabhai" director. Amitabh had loved "Lage Raho Munnabhai" enough for a repeat viewing in his busy schedule. And although this is only an ad, the legendary actor seems happy enough jamming with the "Munnabhai" director.
Endorsements continue to occupy a sizeable space in his annual schedule.
"Although the playing time for an ad is just a few minutes, it has to tell as much of a story as a full-length feature film. I love the challenge of telling a story within that limited space. We've some really talented directors doing ads these days."
Amitabh has also shot for ads with Rakeysh Mehra and Balakrishnan before acting in their feature films, "Aks" and "Cheeni Kam", respectively.
