When Bollywood heart-throb Hritik Roshan was introduced at a launch event as the "sexiest star", he shook his head: "No, I'm not!"
Launching this year's 'Kingfisher Swimsuit Special 2004', a swimsuit calendar that showcases the Indian fashion industry, Roshan instead pointed to the beautiful Indian women featured in it. "I don't mind being an attendant to photographer Atul Kabekar," he laughed.
Some well-known faces from the film and fashion world were spotted at the meet: Pooja Bedi, Amrita Arora with Upen Patel, Padmini and Tejashwini Kolhapure, Suman Ranganathan, Rahul Roy and Rajalaxmi, Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Aki Narula, Hemant Trivedi, Manoviraj Khosla, Manish Arora, Malini Ramani, Rina Dhaka, Ajay And Vijay Balhara, Aditya Bal and Kamal Sindhu.
Introduced in 2003, the 'Kingfisher Swimsuit Special' is the first calendar of its kind, combining photography and fashion to portray life, fun and beauty.
The calendar features swimwear designed by India's leading designers -- Rohit Bal, Ashish Soni, Aki Narula, Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Beri, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manoviraj Khosla, Hemant Trivedi, Wendell Rodricks, Vikram Phadnis, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Anshu Arora Sen.
India's leading models - Yana Gupta and Vidisha Pavate and new faces - Piya Trivedi, Nifa Hindes based out of London and Rohini Tiwari from New York have been chosen to depict this year's almanac.
