Huma Qureshi who recently made her big international debut with Gurinder Chadha's VICEROY'S HOUSE, wherein Huma essays the role of Aalia, a Muslim interpreter to the last Viceroy of India played by Hugh Bonaville and his wife played by Gillian Anderson, and also features in a strong love story, where she and 100 FOOT JOURNEY star Manish Dayal find themselves caught up in the seismic end of the Empire.


While the film received rave reviews from the audience in London, as it premiered at the Curzon theater in Mayfair, it will release closer to the 70th anniversary of India's independence on home turf.

The large-canvas film of epic proportion , that released in the UK on the 3rd March, premiered at the Berlinale 2017 with much praise for the gorgeous actress and ever since she has been a subject of heated discussion in London.

The actress celebrated in London with her posters splashed across every metro and hoarding that matters. She then went on to become the first Indian actress to visit the social media headquarters there and one of the most popular faces at the London Fashion Week.

Huma also recently attended the Empire Awards in London, an annual British awards ceremony honoring cinematic achievements in the local and global film industry. She was dressed by a British designer.

With this she becomes one of the first few Indian actresses to attend the Empire London Awards.

Huma is in the best phase of her career, fresh off the success of JOLLY LLB 2 and the acclaim coming her way for VICEROY'S HOUSE. She has also been signed by international management agency, who also handle Hollywood star Michael Fassbender, and while other Indian actors are working out of New York, Huma is working from London, which is fast becoming her second home.
