Tsunami in Indonesia - It’s destiny that we are alive!

Dancer and choreographer, Sudarshan Chakravorty quoted, “It’s destiny that we are alive and safe”, in a leading daily, about how they were all helpless at the hands of nature. It was in the context to the eruption of the Anak Krakatau volcano around the Sunda Strait that triggered a tsunami. The life of the people on the southern coast of Indonesia turned upside down in no time. No matter how advanced we are in terms of technology in today’s time and age, nothing can save us from natural calamities.

This is one more real-life story about believing in destiny. Do you believe in destiny? Well, if yes, please share your story as we are coming up with an interesting story about destiny too – KRUTANT. Krutant means destiny in Marathi language.

Destiny is not just about life and death; it is about everything. It is about an experience and belief. One must have heard about a passenger who missed a flight for an important business meeting but still thanks God since the flight was ill-fated and had crashed… this is destiny. There are innumerable stories but stay confined with the people who have experienced it.

KRUTANT features Sandeep Kulkarni (of Dombivali Fast fame) in a unique avatar with Suyog Gorhe, Sayli Patil, Vidya Karanjikar, Vaishnavi Patwardhan. Produced by Mihir Shah under the banner of Rain Rose Films KRUTANT is directed by Datta Mohan Bhandare.

The choreographer’s phone hasn’t stopped ringing since the news of the tsunami broke. He was quoted, “It would have been disastrous if we were trapped, as our whole team, whose families were anxiously waiting for them back home. My heart goes out to the bereaved families in Indonesia and I hope things are fine soon”.

Team Glamsham also extends the condolences.
