It's a wrap for John Abraham's next PARMANU
It's a wrap for John Abraham-Diana Penty starrer, PARMANU- THE STORY OF POKHRAN. The film, produced by KriArj Entertainment, Zee Studios, Kyta Productions and John's JA Entertainment, went on floors in May this year and completed its shoot last week. The producers announced the wrap on the film with the release of yet another intriguing poster of the film.
An elated John Abraham, who is also the co-producer of this film shared, “PARMANU is an ode to the army and scientists, who although ordinary people, truly accomplished extraordinary feats in the face of adversity to ensure that India finds its due place on the world nuclear map. It is a powerful human story of ordinary citizens who changed the trajectory of the country. It is so special to me because it combines all the aspects of film making that really speak to me - a thrilling edge of the seat plotline.'
Directed by Abhishek Sharma the film also stars Diana Penty and Boman Irani. While the premise of the film is based on true events, the characters are fictitious.
Producer Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment said, “What we truly want to achieve through this film is pride for our true heroes- Jai Jawan, Jai Vigyan! For us at KriArj, PARMANU is partly a dream and partly a need to remind the people of India of the unsung heroes behind our nuclear prowess- our army and our scientists. After RUSTOM, TOILET: EK PREM KATHA, this film is yet another step in our journey to make good, engaging cinema that is not just entertaining but also evokes pride in our country. Despite the ambitious project, in terms of recreating India of the 90s, we are glad that we are completely on schedule for December 8th release of this edge-of-the-seat thriller.”
PARMANU- THE STORY OF POKHRAN will hit the silver screens on December 8 this year.
