John Woo brings his signature style in MANHUNT

Chinese films are known for their immersive storytelling style and spectacular action sequence, and the trailer for John Woo’s MANHUNT shows both. A highly stylized film with some brilliant slow motion action sequence shows the masterclass of John Woo.
The trailer shows the story of a man who has been framed for a crime he did not commit goes on a quest to clear his name; the film shows some of the signature techniques John Woo is most famous for.
The director who has given us classic films like MISSION: IMPOSSIBE II and FACE/OFF and MANHUNT is another film in the long list of films he has done.
The film features stars like Hanyu Zhang, Masaharu Fukuyama, Jiwon Ha and Stephy Qi in lead roles, the film was selected in the Toronto International Film Festival and Venice Film Festival.
A bit Tanatino-esque with the shooting scene with slow motion and based on the novel ‘Kimiyo funnu no kawa wo watare’ by Juko Nishimura, the film is set to wow the audience.
Directed by John Woo and produced by Media Asia Films, the film is scheduled to release on 4th May only on Netflix.
