Jordan Peele releases a killer new poster of US

After teasing about his new project in May, GET OUT director Jordan Peele left everyone clueless about his latest outing of the film US. Recently. director Jordan Peele shared a teaser poster on his social media and following the release of the poster, Jordan Peele confirmed to release the trailer of the film in Christmas this year.

Currently, there's a vague synopsis making rounds over the internet, reportedly a leading media house posted a synopsis of the film. "A mother (Lupita Nyong’o) and a father (Winston Duke) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends. But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited."

The synopsis sounds like more of a home invasion horror subgenre, which includes the film like THE STRANGER and Darren Aronofsky's MOTHER.

Jordan's directorial debut GET OUT, earned four Academy Award nominations and won the Best Original Screenplay and we are hoping Jordan is going to amaze us with his next film too. Currently, there’s no way that Jordan would slip out the story this easy, it’s as simple as it’s made to sound.

In addition to those cast members mentioned in the synopsis, Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Anna Diop, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry and twins Cali & Noelle Sheldon.

Jordan Peele’s US is slated to hit theaters on March 15, 2019.
