After television and films Ekta Kapoor has been ruling digital space now what with back-to-back web series that her production house is churning out. ALT Balaji is one of the booming app which showcases web series like ‘The Test Case’, ‘Bose: Dead/ Alive’ and more.

And now Ekta’s new web show ‘Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai’ starring Ronit Bose Roy, Mona Singh and Gurdeep Kohli will stream from 16 March on ALT Balaji app.

At a private screening first 4 episodes of ‘Kehne ko Humsafar Hai’ were shown to a select media.

The show is about a happily married man Rohit (Ronit Bose Roy) who falls in love with an ambitious interior designer (Ananya) Mona Singh. The series is a complex tale of love and marriage wherein Rohit loves a girl deeply and decides to marry her despite having a daughter of marriageable age.

Rohit has two daughters he loves his family but is in turmoil of relationship as to how can he leave his wife and marry the love of his life Ananya. Ananya is a strong independent women who is an interior designer who loves her work and also loves Rohit. However, her female friends tell her that he is only with her for sex.

Rohit still confesses his love for Ananya to his wife Poonam and his kids.

The show showcases extra martial affair from a man’s perspective and also shows how Rohit is guilty but is in love.

The sweet tale of turmoil in marriage has been dealt in a matured way. We often see Ekta showcasing women as a central character but over here, she has made sure the point of view of a married man as well as wife and the other woman is also heard.

A matured love story, a father’s cry, a wife’s helplessness and a women’s love face the wrath of destiny as they want answers to the questions that destiny has planned.

As you watch this show you can relate with it as this is what we witness in the society, how a wife is ready to adjust for the sake of kids, how a father feels bad for his daughter but also loves someone else and in dilemma.

How a woman is being accused of home breaker but the only fault is that she loves someone.

Love has no age, it doesn’t follow any barrier when you fall for someone it follows only heart. And ‘Kehne Ko Hai Humsafar’ shows how love can make you do things which society doesn’t accept it. The subject is told in a simple way yet effective.

It’s a typical Ekta Kapoor show with high voltage drama, emotions and tears in a modern set up!
Penned by Neena Gupta, this show is Gurdeep Kohli’s debut in web series. She returns after a sabbatical and will make you smile. You will surely feel for her.

Mona Singh is seen in a different avatar. She is seen uttering shayris and being romantic and poetic yet a strong woman. Interestingly, while Mona Singh plays a home breaker in this show, she played a housewife, who is cheated on by her husband as he has an extra marital affair, in the TV show ‘Kya Huaa Tera Vaada’, which was produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms

While Ronit Roy as usual steals the show as he plays a lover, husband, a son and a loving father. One must have heard a famous quote from the film SERPENDITY, “You don’t have to understand, you have to have faith, faith in destiny.”

We don’t know if Rohit and Ananya will unite or not!

The show will reinstate faith in love.
