After the under performance of TA RA RUM PUM and the shocking debacle of JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, India's top production house, Yash Raj are back on their feet, thanks to the stupendous success of their off beat Shah Rukh Khan starrer, CHAK DE! INDIA.

Things are now looking brighter and better for Yash Raj, as the first (interesting and intriguing) trailors and the subsequent promos of their next release, LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG, is generating a keen interest among the cine-goers. In fact, the sparkling chemistry between the 'Rani' of Bollywood and the National Award winner Konkona Sen Sharma is to be seen to be believed. The dance number between the two is reminiscent of the DEVDAS number ('Dola Re') picturised on Madhuri and Aishwarya. Even their male counterparts, Kunal and Abhishek (who is in a special appearance) are looking fresh in their new get ups.

Reliable section of the trade feels that LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG boasts of all the ingredients Yash Raj are famous for (Indian theme, song and dance, family drama etc), and will be able to impress the audience.

We just wonder, if women power is the new success 'mantra' for Yash Raj, especially after CHAK DE! INDIA. And looking at their forthcoming ventures, LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG and AAJA NACHLE (that marks the return of the dancing queen Madhuri), we see more women-centric movies.
