Landmarc Films shines at 55th Maharashtra State Awards

Vidhi Kasliwal’s Landmarc Films is all set for a good year with three releases. Films REDU, PIPSI AND NASHIBVAAN will release theatrically in 2018 are already making waves at various film festivals. Now all three films have won Maharashtra state awards in many categories.

REDU which is slated to release on 18th May, is a humorous bitter-sweet journey of a village simpleton and his undying attachment to his radio; PIPSI, slated to release in July, is a heart warming story of two kids and their journey to save a fish in order to save their ailing mother; NASHIBVAAN slated to release in September is a dramedy about what happens when a trash collector becomes a millionaire overnight.

“We are elated that our films have won many awards at the prestigious Maharashtra State Awards. Content has always been the most important criteria for us to back a film and this kind of appreciation reaffirms our faith in good cinema.” says Vidhi Kasliwal.

Landmarc Films is also producing a few Hindi films including a rom com with director Shashant Shah and a coming of age thriller directed by Anu Menon.
