Well, giving out an interesting nostalgic fact, Lata ji posted about the first female singer of India Gauhar Jaan and remembered the legendary Thumari singer on her 145th birth anniversary. While remembering the great singer Gauhar Jaan, Lata ji also revealed that the first recording that happened in India was in 1905 and that it was in the voice of Gauhar Jaan. Yes Gauhar Jaan is the first female singer who’s voice was recorded or rather we say the first recording was in her voice Lata ji is proud of this fact. An elated Lata ji immediately shared on social media.
