Love Me India contestant pays heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar

Gifted with a divine voice, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar is a true treasure of our nation who will always be venerated and remembered for her brilliant contribution to the Bollywood music industry and Indian cinema. Capturing all our hearts with her soulful voice over decades, she continues to rule the music industry with great fervor and her warm smile. Rightly known as the playback queen of our music industry, she has committed her life towards music and has given us some of the most unforgettable and classic songs.

Lata Mangeshkar’s musical contribution towards Bollywood is not just talked about and adored by the older generation, but also some kids of today who are still dedicated to classical music. One such kid, Tanishka Sarkar of &TV’s Love Me India who at a tender age has found inspiration and idolizes the legendary singer and her music. Tanishka began singing at the age of 3 and is trained in classical singing by her mother. The 12-year-old is an ardent fan of Lata Mangeshkar and has practiced in singing all of her songs. In celebration of Lataji’s birthday expressing her love towards the nightingale of the country, Tanishka will dedicate her favorite song to her on the stage of Love Me India.
