Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus PADMAAVAT starring Ranveer Singh as antagonist Alauddin Khilji, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Deepika Padukone in titular role is now all set to hit the theaters on January 25 after being mired with controversies for a long time.

After the trailer and two songs that was released months back, the makers refrained from promoting their film as they were busy fighting the ban imposed on the film in certain states.

The trailer that was released earlier was widely appreciated and to our surprise had no dialogues of Ranveer Singh however his looks and actions spoke volumes. Shahid and Deepika looked drop dead gorgeous and the new pair was simply enchanting and we were mesmerized by beauty of Deepika and the grandeur of the film.

As the film is releasing next week the makers yesterday released the first ever dialogue promo of Khilji, followed by two other dialogue promos of Rani Padmavati and Maharawal Ratan Singh.

In the first promo Alauddin Khilji is in the middle of battle field as he says, “Hum Khiljion ne saath milkar ek khwab dekha tha ki ek din hamara parcham saare jahaan pe lehraayega.” His words and actions do appears to be utterly evil.

This is the first time that we have heard Ranveer say a dialogue in the promo as so far the spotlight had been on Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor who plays husband and wife in the film.

The same promo has Shahid’s measured tones as he answers Khilji and says Rajputs have more iron in their chests than Khilji has in his sword.

Another dialogue promo has Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor meeting for the first time and gives us a glimpse of their courtship and marriage. It also has Padmavati fiercely planning to defeat Khilji and show him how brave the Rani’s of Chittorgarh are.

All the dialogues are hard hitting and give us the feel of how grand this historic drama is going to be.
