After receiving an exceptional response for the first trailer, the makers of KGF just dropped the second trailer for the much-awaited Kannada film starring Yash. The explosive trailer presented the journey of a young boy who rises from the local streets of Mumbai to become the single-handed owner of the now-defunct Kolar Gold Fields of Karnataka. the event took place in the suburbs of western Mumbai.
Producers Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani along with AA films Anil Thadani the entire cast of the film including Yash (Kannada superstar), & actress Srinidhi Shetty were present at the trailer launch.
The audience showered their love and praises and cheered for the power packed trailer. The hard hitting and quirky dialogues particularly found a liking just like the earlier trailer.
KGF showcases the story of Rocky (Yash) who aims to win the world and conquer the bloodiest gold mine.
A power-packed trailer with full of action sequences and punch dialogues have hit the internet with a bang. The clip begins with a mother asking his son to take oath that when he dies he would be a rich and powerful person in the world. The next few seconds gives an insight into the film's content as it says that the the 70s conflict between the USA and Russia nearly lead to the third world war and how it affected the KGF region.
KGF is a period drama that traces the history of gold mining and the mafia running it in the generous fields of Karnataka's Kolar region.
The film is made in five languages, namely Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
Starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Ananth Nag, John Kokken, Achyuth Rao in the lead, KGF is a Homabale Films production directed by Prashanth Neel, produced by Vijay Kiragandur, while Ravi Basrur has composed the music for KGF.
